Barcelona presidential candidate Toni Freixa has announced his desire to bring two "differential" players to the club if he is elected the Blaugrana's new president.
The next man to assume office at Camp Nou will be decided in the March 7 election, and Freixa will be going up against Joan Laporta and Victor Font for the role in Catalonia.
Despite their well-documented financial problems, Barcelona continue to be linked with some big names in the transfer market, and Freixa claims that he has reached an agreement with two "differential" players to join the club if he wins the presidency.
Speaking to Spanish radio programme El Larguero, Freixa said: "There's an agreement with two differential players in attack and defence.
"Any player that wants to win the Ballon d'Or knows that they're only going to win it if they wear Barcelona's shirt."
The Catalan giants are expected to swoop for Manchester City defender Eric Garcia when he becomes a free agent in the summer, while at the other end of the pitch, a move for Lyon's Memphis Depay continues to be mooted.
Ronald Koeman's side recently rose to second in the La Liga table with a 2-0 win over Sevilla on Saturday, with Lionel Messi scoring one and assisting Ousmane Dembele for the other, although leaders Atletico Madrid are two points clear with two games in hand.
