Agent: 'Thiago Silva not leaving Paris Saint-Germain'

The agent of Thiago Silva insists that the Paris Saint-Germain defender will not be leaving for Barcelona this summer.

The agent of Thiago Silva has insisted that the defender will not be leaving Paris Saint-Germain for Barcelona this summer.

The 28-year-old Brazilian international is thought to be considering his future with the French champions after joining from AC Milan in 2012.

"Is it true that Thiago would be willing to shrink his salary just to play at Barca? That possibility doesn't exist, Thiago will not go to Barcelona," Paulo Tonietto told Tuttomercatoweb.

"Will he stay at PSG? Yes, he will continue his career in France, with or without [Carlo] Ancelotti."

Silva scored two goals in 31 appearances for PSG last season.
