Adriano admits that he would welcome the signing of Valencia full-back Jordi Alba.

Barcelona left-back Adriano has said that he would welcome the signing of Valencia full-back Jordi Alba.

Alba, who was linked with a move to Barcelona for much of the season, has been the subject of further reports in the last week linking him with a switch to the Camp Nou. Meanwhile, Adriano dismissed speculation surrounding his own future.

"I like Jordi Alba as a footballer," he said. "He can do a lot of damage when he goes up the field. If Barca sign him, he would be welcome.

"I still have a lot of things to do at this club. I am fine here and my decision is to stay at the club next season."

Barcelona take on Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish cup final in one week.
