Preview: Rayo Vallecano vs. Barcelona

Sports Mole looks ahead to Barcelona's visit to Rayo Vallecano.

Barcelona head into this weekend's La Liga clash with Rayo Vallecano hoping to maintain their unbeaten start to the new campaign.

The Spanish champions lie in second place in the table ahead of kickoff, level on points with Atletico Madrid above them.

Gerardo Martino's side will be brimming with confidence going into the match following a 4-0 demolition of Dutch giants Ajax in the Champions League midweek.

Rayo, who have not won since the opening day of the season, are looking to end a run of three straight defeats.

They went down 5-0 at Malaga in their last league outing.
