Andoni Zubizarreta hints at Barcelona departure

Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta claims that he will not "have many more years" with the club.

Andoni Zubizarreta has claimed that he does not expect to remain in his position as sporting director of Barcelona for too many more years.

The former goalkeeper has been in his current position since 2010, but the 53-year-old now has his eye on other possibilities.

"I don't think I'll have many more years at Barcelona," he told Jot Down magazine.

"Perhaps elsewhere, at another team. English and German clubs tend to be more stable. In all, Spain tends to be a more effervescent country."

As a player, Zubizarreta won four league titles and the European Cup with Barcelona.
