River Plate boss Marcelo Gallardo has insisted that he is "focused" on his current position amid suggestions that Barcelona want him to replace Ronald Koeman as head coach.
Koeman will be in charge for Saturday's La Liga clash with Atletico Madrid, but the Dutchman could be relieved of his duties during the international break.
A recent report claimed that Barcelona had contacted Gallardo to discuss the managerial position at Camp Nou.
Gallardo has insisted that he is "only focused on River", but the 45-year-old's contract with the Argentine outfit is due to expire at the end of December.
"I'm only focused on River. Everyone knows that I want to fulfill my current contract and I've no reason to change my mind. If Barca contacted me? Makes no sense to answer this question..." Gallardo told reporters.
The Argentine, who turned out for the likes of Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain during his playing days, has been in charge of Los Millonarios since 2014.
