England Under-21 boss Stuart Pearce calls Derby County midfielder Will Hughes an "exciting talent".

England Under-21 boss Stuart Pearce has branded Derby County midfielder Will Hughes an "exciting talent".

The 17-year-old, who is expected to start for his country against Sweden on Tuesday, has attracted a host of Premier League interest with his performances in the Championship this season.

"Will Hughes is a real talent in the Championship and he's exciting to watch. We have to make sure he doesn't play too many games as he's still young but he's worthy of his place in that Derby team as he makes them tick," Pearce told reporters.

Hughes has also reportedly attracted the interest of Barcelona.
