Sergio Busquets has appeared to criticise Barcelona officials for reducing the number of players in the club's first-team squad.
Despite long-term injuries to the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez, Barcelona parted ways with several faces during January in order to improve their position with FFP.
However, after two players, including Busquets, were suspended for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie with Napoli next month, the midfielder has indicated that he has been left unhappy with the situation.
Speaking to reporters, the Spaniard said: "[Nelson] Semedo and I were one booking away from a ban so we were always running that risk.
"We hope [Gerard] Pique's injury is nothing serious but we will take on the second leg with what we have. We don't have a deep squad because, unfortunately, that's how it was planned."
Barcelona currently hold a slender advantage over the Italian outfit on away goals.
