Marcelo Bielsa insists that Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola is the teacher, while he is the pupil.

Athletic Bilbao manager Marcelo Bielsa has said that he admires Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola.

Bielsa, whose side travel to the Nou Camp in La Liga tonight, admits that his achievements in football are "not comparable" with his opposite number.

"Look at Guardiola's work," he said. "You will see who is the student and who is the teacher.

"No, I'm not the teacher, because the things that I have done in football are not comparable with what Guardiola has done.

"Do I admire him? Of course. He is an unforgettable part of a winning club, where he has built his team."

Guardiola has led La Blaugrana to 13 trophies since taking over at the club in 2008.
