Pep Guardiola calls on Barcelona fans for support

Pep Guardiola urges Barcelona fans to get behind the team against AC Milan next week.

Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola has urged the club's supporters to get behind the team ahead of the second leg of their showdown with AC Milan.

The Spanish outfit, who were held to a goalless draw in the first leg last night, must now beat Milan at the Nou Camp next week in order to progress to the semi-finals of the competition. However, Guardiola knows that it will be difficult.

"To be champions you must come through all types of tests," he said.

"The return match will be difficult but we know that to make it to the semi-finals we have to win one game.

"We will need a full stadium and the backing of our supporters to achieve that. A draw will be no use to us at the Camp Nou."

The defending champions host Athletic Bilbao in La Liga this weekend.
