Barcelona defender Daniel Alves has been ruled out for almost three weeks with a hamstring injury.
The 29-year-old right-back picked up the injury during his side's 4-0 away victory over Levante in La Liga on Sunday and limped off after just 13 minutes.
A medical examination carried out on Monday revealed that Alves has strained his right hamstring and could be out for up to 20 days.
"Dani Alves will be sidelined for 15 to 20 days according to the club's medical services this Monday," reads a statement on Barca's official website.
"The right-back underwent additional tests that confirm that the player has pulled the hamstring in his right leg.
"The Brazilian defender is recovering from the same injury he picked up last season, only this time the injury is in a different leg."
Meanwhile, Barcelona winger Isaac Cuenca returned to training with his teammates on Monday after missing the last six months with knee ligament damage.
