Barcelona defender Lucas Digne ruled out for three weeks

Barcelona defender Lucas Digne is ruled out for three weeks after picking up an injury while on international duty with France.

Barcelona have been dealt a blow with the news that Lucas Digne has been sidelined for three weeks.

On Friday night, Digne featured for France during the 3-2 defeat to Colombia, but the full-back was substituted after just 22 minutes due to a thigh injury.

The 24-year-old remained with France until early this week, but it has now been revealed that the defender will spend time away from action with Barca.

The Catalan giants have a number of important fixtures coming up, with the Champions League double-header with Roma, a La Liga clash with Valencia and the Copa del Rey final with Sevilla all coming up before April 21.

Digne has made a total of 11 starts and four substitute outings in all competitions this season.
