Carlos Tevez has warned Juventus that they will be facing "a player from another planet" in Lionel Messi when they meet Barcelona in the Champions League final next month.
Messi inspired the Catalans to a 5-3 aggregate victory over Bayern Munich with a late brace to secure a 3-0 first-leg lead in their semi-final.
Nevertheless, his former Argentina teammate, who helped Juve edge out Real Madrid on Wednesday to reach the showpiece in Berlin, is optimistic that the Italians can continue to defy the odds on June 6.
"Messi is the best player in the world, even in the semi-finals he did crazy things. He is a player from another planet," the Juve forward told Sky Sport Italia.
"We deserve this final. Now we go to Berlin for a big challenge against Barcelona. Ours is really a team. No-one would have bet on us but we've done something great."
Messi has netted 55 times in all competitions this season.
