Luis Enrique hails "important win" for Barcelona

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique admits that his side's 3-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final is an "important win".

Luis Enrique has described Barcelona's first-leg victory in the quarter-finals of the Champions League as an "important win" for the side.

The Spanish side claimed a 3-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain at Parc des Princes, leaving the French champions needing to score at least three times at Camp Nou next week.

"It's an important win for us. There are lots of ways you can describe our play," BBC Sport quotes the manager as saying.

"We were attentive, had possession and were good in defence. We made a lot of chances and were solid. We need to look to win the return match and avoid surprises."

Barcelona have reached the semi-final of the Champions League every year since 2007.
