The summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Barcelona eye possible reinforcements.
The Spanish champions spent big on Antoine Griezmann last summer but missed out on a big-name striker in January and have been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic, meaning that selling players rather than buying could be their priority this summer.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news from the Camp Nou.
Sunday morning's Barcelona transfer talk news roundup:
Barcelona to include Emerson in Memphis Depay deal?
Barcelona are allegedly prepared to tempt Lyon into accepting a part-exchange deal for Memphis Depay.
Since the appointment of Ronald Koeman, the Catalan giants have been heavily linked with a move for the Netherlands international.
However, while personal terms are said to be agreed, the two clubs are yet to agree a fee for a player who has less than a year remaining on his contract.
According to reports in Spain, Barcelona are ready to go in a different direction during negotiations by offering Lyon the chance to sign Emerson.
While the 21-year-old enjoyed a strong 2019-20 campaign at Real Betis, the Brazilian is unlikely to break into the Barcelona first team over the next 11 months.
With Lyon having parted ways with two full-backs in recent days, the La Liga outfit are seemingly prepared to reduce their financial outlay on Depay by parting ways with the prospect.
Any deal must be given the green light by Betis, who possess dual ownership of the player.
Antoine Griezmann handed Philippe Coutinho's number seven shirt at Barcelona
Antoine Griezmann will wear the number seven jersey for Barcelona this season, the shirt formerly occupied by Philippe Coutinho at Camp Nou.
Griezmann ended his debut season in Catalonia with 15 goals and four assists to show from 48 appearances across all competitions, during which he donned the '17' for Barca.
Coutinho is back at Camp Nou following his loan spell with Bayern Munich, but Barcelona have announced a rejig of squad numbers ahead of the new La Liga season.
A post on the Catalan club's website read: "Antoine Griezmann will wear the number 7 shirt for FC Barcelona this coming season, following in the footsteps of stars such as [David] Villa, Pedro, [Henrik] Larsson and [Javier] Saviola.
"On July 14, 2019, the Frenchman was presented at the Camp Nou with the number 17 shirt, which he wore last season.
"The number 7 was occupied by Philippe Coutinho at that time, meaning Griezmann could not maintain the squad number he had worn at Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid."
Coutinho, who has been persistently linked with a move away from Barcelona in recent months, will now sport the '14' going forward.
