Adrian Ortola came under pressure just before half time when Alain Eizmendi forced a save, before the winger fired the rebound against the woodwork.

Leganes doubled their lead early in the second half when Moreno force a parry from the visiting keeper, only for Javier Eraso to pounce on the rebound.

Patri had a chance to get a goal back for Barcelona late on, but he hurried his shot, failing to test Jon Ander Serantes.
