Friday's Brasileiro predictions including Bahia vs. Gremio

Sports Mole provides score predictions for both of Friday's Brasileiro fixtures - Bahia vs. Gremio and Chapecoense vs. Atletico Goianiense.

A victory by either Gremio or Bahia at Fonte Nova Arena could go a long way to preserving the top-flight status of either side beyond 2021 when both teams face each other in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A on Friday.

Gremio are unbeaten in their last three league games, drawing Flamengo 2-2, while Bahia have failed to score in three straight fixtures playing to a 0-0 draw with Cuiaba on Sunday.

We say: Bahia 1-2 Gremio

Throughout the season, Gremio have underachieved, but they are showing us a lot this month, albeit a little too late for them to climb into the top half of the table. They have enough talent to get themselves out of their current relegation predicament, though, while Bahia rely a little too heavily on Gilberto and without much scoring depth after that.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Chapecoense vs. Atletico GO (Saturday, 12.30am)

Atletico Goianiense can put a little distance between themselves and the relegation zone when they head to Arena Conda on Friday for a match against Chapecoense in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A.

Chape are still without a win at home in this domestic campaign after falling 3-1 to Gremio last Saturday, while Dragao have earned a single point in four straight games as they let a one-goal lead slip away on Tuesday, drawing 1-1 with Juventude.

We say: Chapecoense 0-0 Atletico Goianiense

These teams are near the bottom of the table for a reason, mainly due to a lack of production in the final third as Goianiense and Chape are the second and third-lowest scoring sides respectively in Serie A, so we expect this will be a tight and tentative game for both teams.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
