Report: Queens Park Rangers want Cristian Rodriguez

A report claims that Queens Park Rangers will attempt to persuade Atletico Madrid midfielder Cristian Rodriguez to move to Loftus Road in January.

Queens Park Rangers are reportedly preparing a January move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Cristian Rodriguez.

The 29-year-old has been with Atletico since 2012, but has largely been used as a substitute during his time in the Spanish capital.

According to the Daily Star, QPR boss Harry Redknapp is ready to offer the Uruguay international a starring role at Loftus Road and will make his interest apparent at the start of next month.

Rodriguez has gained 83 caps for his country, in addition to representing the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Porto during a decorated career.
