Atletico Madrid sign Jose Sosa on loan

Atletico Madrid sign Jose Sosa from Ukrainian side Metalist Kharkiv on loan.

Atletico Madrid have completed the loan signing of Jose Sosa from Ukrainian side Metalist Kharkiv.

The 28-year-old, who has previously played in Europe for Bayern Munich and Napoli, will officially join Atletico for the remainder of the season on Wednesday.

The attacking midfielder had previously been strongly linked with a move to Malaga, but Atletico boss Diego Simeone has secured the signing of the talented playmaker ahead of the winter window.

Sosa, who has scored five times in 20 appearances for Metalist this season, also has 19 Argentine caps to his name.
