Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has admitted that his side are struggling after playing "a million games" this season.
Simeone has previously repelled suggestions that a long season is starting to take its toll, but the Argentine has now hinted that fatigue is playing a part in his team's recent struggles.
Atletico missed the chance to win the league on Sunday after drawing 1-1 at home to Malaga, but will now travel to Barcelona next weekend needing just a point to claim the trophy.
"We're going into it game having played a million games and the league comes down to one match and there's a World Cup on the horizon. Let's see how we are before the match," he told reporters at a press conference.
Atletico have not won the Spanish title in close to 20 years.
