Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone believes that Saul Niguez has "a tremendous future".
The 19-year-old scored his first senior goal for the capital outfit in Saturday's 4-0 win over Sevilla at the Vicente Calderon.
"Saul has a tremendous future with this development. He's 19-years-old and playing in midfield for Atletico at that age is not easy," he told reporters at a press conference.
"He has a lot of personality. He's intense. He's a classic player like Koke, or like Gabi, he does very well. He has patience and humility and works hard. He's destined to be an important player for the club."
Saul spent last season on loan at Rayo Vallecano, but has been a regular member of Atletico's first-team squad in the early stages of the new campaign.
