Jonathan Kodjia has reportedly indicated that he wishes to leave Aston Villa before the end of the summer transfer window.
While Premier League clubs are now unable to sign new players, foreign teams can continue to strengthen their squads before the start of September.
According to Orta Cizgi, Besiktas have registered an interest in Kodjia, despite Villa having just two senior strikers in their first-team squad.
However, Kodjia has allegedly informed Villa that he wishes to move to the Turkish giants, leaving the West Midlands outfit to contemplate parting ways with the Ivory Coast international.
The scenario is complicated by the fact that Kodjia has less than a year left on his contract, putting Villa at risk of losing the player on a free transfer if they do not accept an offer from Besiktas.
Kodjia was a second-half substitute as Villa lost 3-1 to Tottenham Hotspur in their top-flight opener last weekend.
