Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton is reportedly closing on a return to Spanish outfit Real Mallorca.
The 28-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan with the club, is not expected to be part of Villa's first-team plans next season.
It had been suggested that Mallorca's relegation out of Spain's top flight would harm a possible move, but according to the Birmingham Mail, a season-long loan is close to being completed.
Hutton, who arrived at Villa in 2011, has two years remaining on his current deal.
