Aston Villa forward Keinan Davis has reportedly emerged as a potential January transfer target for Nottingham Forest.
Despite their encouraging form under recently-appointed head coach Steve Cooper, Forest have not always impressed in front of goal in the Championship this season.
With Lewis Grabban not being pushed for his starting role by Lyle Taylor, the East Midlands outfit are expected to be in the market for a new frontman at the midway point of the campaign.
According to The Telegraph journalist John Percy, Cooper is interested in signing Davis, who will almost certainly be allowed to depart Villa next month.
The 23-year-old has made just one appearance this season - an 11-minute cameo in Dean Smith's last game in charge against Southampton on November 5 - and the academy graduate remains down the pecking order.
Norwich City have also been linked with Davis in recent weeks, with the forward potentially being open to reuniting with his former boss at Carrow Road.
