Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph has said that he would "love" to extend his stay at the Midlands club.
Delph made 36 Premier League appearances for Paul Lambert's side last term and is seemingly one of the first names on the teamsheet.
However, the 24-year-old's contract is due to expire at the end of the 2014-15 season and Delph has said that he hopes he can pen a new deal soon.
"I feel like I went missing for a few years and that's not something I'm happy with," FourFourTwo quotes him as saying.
"The owner [Randy Lerner] has been brilliant. He's always believed in me and every time I've seen him he's been nothing but positive.
"I'd love to sign a new deal and am ready to talk but it's not up to me so we'll have to see."
Delph is entering his sixth year at Villa Park, having arrived at the club as a 19-year-old from Leeds United.
