Aston Villa and Everton go head to head on Saturday with the Villains on the hunt for their first victory of the season.

Aston Villa welcome Everton to Villa Park on Saturday as they search for their first points of the Premier League season.

New manager Paul Lambert suffered a 1-0 defeat to newly-promoted West Ham United at the weekend, while Everton got their campaign up and running with a shock 1-0 win over Manchester United.

Lambert is likely to keep new signings Ron Vlaar, Matt Lowton and Karim El Ahmadi in the lineup. However, Stephen Ireland could make way for Barry Bannan, who started on the bench last Saturday.

Toffees boss David Moyes will be buoyed by his side's efforts against the former Premier League champions last weekend, so therefore is not expected to tinker with his team for their trip to the Midlands.

Marouane Fellaini, who netted the one and only goal at Goodison Park last Saturday, should retain his spot in the starting XI alongside Steven Pienaar and Nikica Jelavic.
