Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given will face Manchester United on Saturday, despite the death of close friend Gary Speed.
The Irishman broke down in tears before Sunday's goalless draw against Swansea City, just hours after the Wales manager was found hanged in his home.
However, Villa manager Alex McLeish has said that Given is in the right frame of mind to take on the Premier League champions.
"I think he's been in touch with Gary Speed's family, and he's been training as normal," said the Scot.
"Shay is shell-shocked, like a lot of the boys, but he has got on with it."
The Midlands club have not beaten United in the league at Villa Park since 1995.
