Gabriel Agbonlahor: 'I'll keep giving 100% for Aston Villa'

Gabriel Agbonlahor insists that he will continue to give 100% for Aston Villa after signing a new contract.

Gabriel Agbonlahor has insisted that he will not slip into an air of complacency after signing a new contract at Aston Villa.

The 27-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at the Midlands outfit, penned a new four-year deal last week.

The forward, who has scored 80 goals in over 300 appearances, has insisted that he will continue to give his all on the field.

In an interview with the Birmingham Mail, Agbonlahor said: "If you look at me and my stats from the last 10 years or so, whenever I have signed a new contract, I have always carried on playing.

"I've always tried 100% in every game and made myself available for every game unless I was injured."

Agbonlahor scored the only goal in Villa's 1-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.
