Granit Xhaka has posted a cryptic message seemingly aiming a dig at Arsenal while on international duty following the midfielder's fallout with the club last month.
The Switzerland international was stripped of the Arsenal captaincy by Unai Emery after telling the Emirates crowd to "fuck off" during a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.
Xhaka has since been omitted from the Gunners squads that faced Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City in recent Premier League fixtures.
Taking to social media after a Euro 2020 qualifier with Georgia, Xhaka wrote in German: "Happiness is when you are satisfied with yourself and do not need the confirmation of others."
Reports have claimed that Xhaka will leave the North London club over the January transfer window.
AC Milan are favourites to sign him, although Newcastle United have also demonstrated an interest in signing the midfielder on a loan basis.
