Arsene Wenger has insisted that Arsenal will be "very proactive" in the transfer market during the summer.
A 1-0 win at Newcastle United today assured that the Gunners would be playing Champions League football next season.
The Frenchman insisted that he will not be reckless but admitted that Arsenal were looking to make some signings.
"We want to of course have additions to the squad," manager Wenger said. "Let's first keep the structure and quality of the team we have now and see what we find.
"Let's not forget that there are many clubs who have big money and maybe there is not enough talent to strengthen all the teams who have money.
"But we'll be out there [in the transfer market] in a very proactive way."
Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville said after the game that Arsenal should try to push on and challenge for trophies next season.
