Crystal Palace will break their transfer record to sign Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk, according to reports.

The Mirror report that Palace are lining up a £10m move for the 23-year-old, and Alan Pardew hopes the prospect of Premier League football will appeal to Van Dijk.

It is also believed that Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the player.

The Dutchman has made 61 appearances for Celtic since joining from Groningen in 2013.
