Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez bids farewell to his teammates ahead of his imminent deadline-day move to Arsenal.

Denis Suarez has seemingly confirmed his exit from Barcelona ahead of an imminent deal to join Arsenal.

Official confirmation is yet to arrive from the Gunners, but Suarez is expected to complete a loan move to the Emirates Stadium before today's 11pm transfer deadline.

Barcelona have extended the Spaniard's contract as part of the deal, although Arsenal do have the option to make the signing permanent at the end of the season.

The Spanish champions appeared to confirm the transfer yesterday in a post which was quickly deleted, and Suarez has now bid a public farewell to his teammates.

The move sees Suarez reunite with Unai Emery, under whom he featured at Sevilla in 2014-15.
