Moussa Sissoko has insisted that he will not leave Newcastle United during next month's transfer window.
It had been reported that the midfielder's form for the Magpies this season had alerted Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who was said to be readying a £16m bid for his services.
However, despite having expressed a desire to test himself in the Champions League at some point, the 25-year-old has revealed that he intends to remain on Tyneside until at least the end of the season.
"I'm ambitious. My aim is to play in the best clubs, play the Champions League, win trophies. But today, I'm a Magpie and I'm very happy," he told L'Equipe.
"There haven't been any offers. I'll be at Newcastle until the end of the season. After that, we'll see."
Sissoko joined Newcastle from Toulouse in January of last year.
