Arsenal full-back Bacary Sagna is happy to stay at the club next season after being assuranced over his first-team future, according to reports.

Arsenal full-back Bacary Sagna is reportedly happy to rebuff offers to leave North London and stay at the Emirates for at least one more season.

Sagna has less than 12 months to run on his current deal with the Gunners, leading to speculation that the French international could join Paris Saint-Germain or Anzhi Mackhachkala this summer.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is thought to have assured Sagna that he remains part of his first-team plans, with the right-back now prepared to put off a move abroad according to the Daily Mail.

The 30-year-old has been offered a one-year contract extension, but is yet to sign as he looks to keep his long-term options open.

Wenger has also reportedly persuaded Sagna's defensive colleague Laurent Koscielny to turn down a move away from the Emirates, as the manager looks to build a side capable of challenging for silverware next season.
