Report: Santi Cazorla open to leaving Arsenal for Atletico Madrid

Santi Cazorla is reportedly open to leaving Arsenal to join La Liga champions Atletico Madrid.

Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla is reportedly open to joining Atletico Madrid this summer.

The Spaniard is believed to be a target for the La Liga champions, who are said to be pondering an £18m bid for the player.

Cazorla, who has two years remaining on his current contract at the Emirates, signed for Arsenal from Malaga in 2012.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Cazorla would be happy to sign for the Spanish champions should they declare their interest during the summer transfer window.

Reports have claimed that Atletico are considering potential replacements for Arda Turan following speculation that the 27-year-old could leave the club.
