Report: Arsenal eye Roma's Leandro Paredes

A report claims that Arsenal could move for Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes in the January transfer window.

Arsenal are reportedly considering a January swoop for Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes.

The 22-year-old joined Roma from Boca Juniors in 2015, and after a loan spell with Empoli last season, he has broken into the first-team set-up at the Italian club.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Paredes's performances this season have attracted the attention of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who is keen to boost his squad in the January transfer window.

Former Argentina Under-17 international Paredes has already made 16 appearances for Roma in all competitions this season, scoring once in the process.
