Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly turned down the chance to sign Arthur from Juventus as part of a deal for Mauro Icardi.
The former Inter Milan striker has struggled to displace the famed front three of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi this term, starting just seven games in the 2021-22 Ligue 1 campaign.
As a result, Icardi is being tipped to leave the club in the January window, and a winter return to Italy with the Bianconeri has been mooted.
Juve supposedly proposed a swap deal involving unsettled midfielder Arthur for Icardi, but according to Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG chief Leonardo rejected the offer.
Arthur has struggled to make a name for himself in Turin since arriving from Barcelona and only has 10 appearances under his belt this season, although he has started Juve's last two Serie A matches.
Chelsea and Arsenal have also been linked with January moves for Icardi, who has registered 38 goals and 10 assists in 82 appearances for PSG since 2019.
