Arsenal target Rui Patricio admits that his future with Sporting Lisbon is open to speculation, despite the club reportedly turning down a £10m bid from the Gunners.

Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper Rui Patricio has admitted that he is open to leaving the Portuguese giants this summer as rumours persist over a move to Arsenal.

The Gunners reportedly had a bid of around £8.5m turned down earlier this month by Sporting, who are holding out for a much larger transfer fee.

After playing in Sporting's final game of the season last weekend, the Portuguese international has conceded that his future with the club is far from certain.

Tuttomercatoweb quotes him as saying: "I feel good here, but we must consider many things. I still do not know what the future holds for me."

The 25-year-old has spent his entire professional career at Sporting, making more than 200 first-team appearances.

Arsenal are believed to be actively seeking to strengthen their squad in a number of areas as manager Arsene Wenger prepares to utilise a reported £70m transfer kitty.
