Arsenal to offer a new contract to Jack Wilshere?

Arsenal are reportedly planning to open contract talks with Jack Wilshere.

The 20-year-old has two years to run on his current deal, but Gunners manager Arsene Wenger wants to make the midfielder one of the club's top earners, according to The Mirror.

It is believed that Wilshere's representatives have already held preliminary talks with Arsenal to improve the £50,000 he currently earns per-week.

The England international sat out the 0-0 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday evening.
