Liverpool and Arsenal offered Bernard?

Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly offered Shakhtar Donetsk's £19m-rated playmaker Bernard.

Arsenal and Liverpool have reportedly been offered Shakhtar Donetsk playmaker Bernard.

The attacking midfielder is said to be keen on a switch to the Premier League, and parties working on behalf of the Brazilian have apparently contacted the two clubs about a possible transfer.

Bernard could be available for around £19m, according to The Mirror, and the fee is likely to have priced potential suitors in his homeland out of a move.

The 21-year-old has been included in Brazil's World Cup squad.
