Former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann believes that a move to Arsenal would increase Julian Draxler's World Cup hopes.
The German attacking midfielder has been linked with a transfer to numerous clubs this month, but fellow countryman Lehmann has advised the Schalke player to consider a move to the Gunners.
"I think Julian Draxler is perceived to be one of the greatest, talented young players in Germany, so it would be a good move for him to go to Arsenal," Lehmann, who featured 149 times for Arsenal, told The Express.
"With Arsenal, he has a bigger likeness of playing in the Champions League next year, which is quite certain. Of course, it may give him a bigger chance to play at the World Cup with Brazil."
Draxler, 20, has a reported £37m release clause in his contract.
