Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette suggests that there is no truth in speculation linking him with a move to Atletico Madrid.

Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette has played down speculation linking him with a switch to Atletico Madrid.

Having endured an inconsistent campaign, the Frenchman has been tipped to depart the Emirates Stadium, potentially to Atletico who are in the market for a new striker.

At a time when the Gunners are being linked with an approach for Thomas Partey, it has been claimed that Lacazette may move in the opposite direction.

However, on Twitter, the 28-year-old's representatives Score Agencies suggested that "lies" were being spread about the player's future, actions which Lacazette described as "not beautiful at all".

Lacazette has contributed nine goals and three assists from 25 outings in the Premier League and Europa League this season.
