Manchester City defender John Stones has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Barcelona.
Having fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium, Stones has recently been linked with a move elsewhere ahead of the next campaign.
However, while Arsenal and Chelsea have previously been suggested as possible destinations, it appears that the England international also has admirers in La Liga.
According to RAI Sport journalist Ciro Venerato, Barcelona may make an approach for the 26-year-old if they offload long-serving Gerard Pique.
Stones is no stranger to newly-appointed manager Ronald Koeman, who worked with the player during his early weeks at Everton before the Toffees sold him to City.
The report suggests that the Catalan giants could be prepared to pay in the region of £45m.
