A report claims that Thierry Henry is nearing a third spell with Arsenal.

Thierry Henry has reportedly agreed a deal in principle to rejoin Arsenal for a third time on a loan basis next month.

The New York Red Bulls striker is believed to have informed Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger that he would like to spend some time at the Emirates Stadium while the MLS has a break.

Should a deal between both clubs be reached, Henry will sign on for six weeks with the Premier League club until the middle of February, according to Goal.com.

The report has claimed that the Red Bulls would want the 35-year-old back before the end of February because their league gets underway in March.

Henry is Arsenal's record goalscorer, having found the net on 228 occasions for the Gunners.
