Arsenal have reportedly been informed that they will have to come up with an offer of £50m plus add-ons for Ben White if they wish to sign the centre-back this summer.
The Gunners are believed to have had a £45m approach for the England international turned down by Brighton & Hove Albion.
According to The Sun, Mikel Arteta's side have been told that Brighton will not drop their asking price, meaning that the North London club will have to increase their offer in order to sign the 23-year-old in the current market.
The report claims that Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are also keeping a close eye on developments, which could potentially drive the centre-back's asking price higher.
White impressed for the Seagulls during the 2020-21 campaign, making 39 appearances in all competitions, and he earned a call-up to the England squad for Euro 2020 following Trent Alexander-Arnold's injury.
The defender still has more than three years left to run on his contract at the Amex.
