Young Arsenal player Hector Bellerin will be handed a new contract, according to reports.
The teenager has established himself as the starting right-back in the absence of the injured Mathieu Debuchy, and he has impressed in recent weeks.
The Daily Mail claims that it is the club's policy to hand out new contracts to young players who progress through to the first team, and Bellerin is the latest player they want to tie down on a long-term deal.
The paper suggests that it casts more doubt over the future of Carl Jenkinson, who is currently on loan at West Ham United.
Bellerin has made 17 appearances for the Gunners this season.
