Barcelona have reportedly joined rivals Real Madrid in the race to sign Arsenal full-back Kieran Tierney this summer.
The Spanish sides are believed to have solidified their interest in Tierney after he netted his first international goal for Scotland on Thursday, and Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti is said to have been a long-term admirer of the 24-year-old.
Ancelotti reportedly tried to sign Tierney in 2019, when he was in charge of Napoli, but ultimately missed out on his signature to Arsenal, where he arrived from Celtic.
However, football.london reports that Ancelotti is expected to try again for Tierney's service this summer but will have to fend off competition from Xavi's side.
Barcelona are expected to have to better a £50m bid that will come from the Spanish capital for Tierney, and the Catalan club will also have to comply with La Liga, who are already wary of Barca's financial situation.
Since arriving at the Emirates, Tierney has gone on to provide 12 assists and score four goals in 87 appearances for the Gunners.
