Thomas Partey is reportedly expected to leave Atletico Madrid this summer, with Arsenal considered the favourites to sign the Ghanaian midfielder.

Atletico Madrid have accepted that midfielder Thomas Partey will leave the club at the end of the season, according to a report.

Partey has held talks with Arsenal over a summer switch to the Emirates Stadium, as confirmed by his father in April, while Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested.

The Ghana international has a £44.5m release clause in his contract and Cadena COPE suggests that an end-of-season exit is now the most likely option.

It is claimed that Arsenal are the side best placed to sign the 27-year-old, who is keen to prove himself in the Premier League.

Partey has made 30 starts and three substitute outings in La Liga and the Champions League during the 2019-20 campaign.
