Arsenal's Joel Campbell for Lorient loan switch
Reports suggest that new Arsenal striker Joel Campbell will move to Ligue 1 side FC Lorient on loan.

New Arsenal signing Joel Campbell will sign for Ligue 1 club FC Lorient on loan, reports in France suggest.

The Costa Rican striker signed for Arsenal earlier this month but was denied a UK work permit.

"He is happy. The coach of that team (Lorient’s Christian Gourcuff) came long ago wanting him to come and that means we will have opportunities to play in a major league as the French," the player’s father told Costa Rican newspaper Nation.

The 19-year-old debuted for the senior Costa Rica national football team in June, scoring one goal in a 5-0 win over Cuba.
