Arsenal are reportedly planning to complete a permanent deal for Pablo Mari as soon as possible.
During the January transfer window, Flamengo allowed the defender to move to the Emirates Stadium on loan until the end of the season.
Despite the 26-year-old only making two appearances before the coronavirus pandemic, it has frequently been suggested that the Gunners were keen to sign the Spaniard on a long-term basis.
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, the Premier League outfit are prepared to push through a £10m deal for Mari.
As it stands, no dates have been confirmed with regards to the next transfer window, leaving Arsenal to bide their time before completing the formalities.
